Their vacation was supposed to be perfect, but it quickly turned into a struggle. It all started when Angie's suitcase went vanished at the gate. After hours of frantic searching, they were told it would be located later.

But that was just the start of their troubles. Mike's flight was postponed due to a air traffic problem, which meant another day at the lounge.

Somehow, they managed to get on a flight, but their delayed luggage arrived days later. They were frustrated from the whole ordeal, and their once-dreamy trip had become a chaotic adventure.

Angie tapped her foot impatiently against the airport floor. Her flight to Mexico/Hawaii/London was scheduled to leave in an hour, but already a feeling of unease was creeping in. Angie let out a sigh/groan/exasperated sound, feeling her hope/optimism/patience dwindling. This was the last thing they needed/wanted/desired on their much-anticipated vacation.

Will This Trip Finally Be Over?

Angie glared out the glass, watching the endless stretch of highway blur by. She'd been stuck in this car for what felt like a lifetime. Mike, blissfully unbothered, was whistling along to some classic rock on the radio.

"Isn't it gorgeous? We should get a selfie" he chirped, oblivious to Angie's rising anger. They'd been in this car forever and every attraction they'd passed had only served to fuel her annoyance.

This vacation was supposed to be a break from reality, not a marathon of misery. She just wanted to get back home, curl up on the couch with a good TV show and forget this whole disaster ever happened.

Maybe she could just disappear when they got to their next hotel. A girl could dream, right?
